Welcome back

to the new and improved bumblebeecrownking. Our 2009 resolution is to be better about showing bits and pieces from our *highly* engaging lives.

enjoy.

A trip to Sedona with Kelly, Liz and Jake to escape the snow and slush of Flagstaff.

And then back into the snow to play with the dog and snowshoe our hearts out.
Meghan graduated! And Ginger came to visit!

Addy decided to get festive for the occasion:

and Rose dressed up like Michigan with a mitten:
A birthday hike (from back in November) down in Sedona:

Redrocks are a nice break from the snow and slush in Flagstaff......

On Sunday we went on a walk with Julie, Michael and their dogs, Sometimes and Marley to Hart prairie (one of our favorite camping spots)

(this hill doesn't look that big, but it is, real real big)

(meg enjoying the view at the top of the huge hill)

(meg and julie planning the layout for our armageddon shelter)

(michael whistling a tune)

A few weeks ago Eric, Liz, Meg, Addy and I went up the mountain
to watch the sunset:

(that's the huge mountain that liz and i climbed - see below)

(Addy got a little cold from swimming in the pond - really she loved it)

(beautiful aspens)

Yesterday Liz and decided to hike the tallest mountain in AZ, Humphrey's. It was a long day, and very chilly on top (12,633 ft), but we did it and had a great time.
(at the saddle)

(at the saddle looking up towards the 2nd tallest mountain, if only that's what we were climbing....)

(we made it to the top and huddled down to enjoy the view for a few minutes)
